What we do
We plan, design and build websites whose main job is taking bookings: salons, clinics, fitness studios, coaches, consultants and home-service businesses. That means the pages that help a customer choose a service, the booking flow that offers only times you can keep, the connections to your calendar and payment processor, and the messages that follow a booking. Projects are run remotely, by video call and email, for businesses anywhere in Canada, and quotes are in Canadian dollars.
Why booking websites
A booking site fails in quiet, specific ways: a service entered with the wrong length, a calendar connection that lapses, a price that grows at checkout, a reminder that lands in spam, a date picker that only works with a mouse. Each one costs a business bookings without anyone noticing. Focusing on this one kind of website lets us plan for those details from the start instead of discovering them after launch.
How we work
- Rules before design. We write down how you schedule before choosing software or drawing screens.
- Everything in writing. A plan and a fixed quote before build work, and decisions recorded as we go.
- Tested against real weeks. Holidays, clock changes, shared rooms and cancellations, each with an expected result.
- Accessible by default. The booking path is built and tested for keyboard and screen reader users.
- You own it. Your domain, content, data and accounts stay in your name.
What we will not promise
We will not promise a number of extra bookings, a search ranking or a drop in missed appointments, because those depend on your services, prices, location and customers far more than on any website. We will not show testimonials or case studies we do not have; the designs on our concepts page are illustrative and labelled as such. And we will not take a commission on your bookings or payments.
Our guides
The guides on this site explain the rules and choices behind online booking in Canada, from anti-spam law to time zones. They are edited by Mia Henderson, the pen name used by the site's editor, and each one cites its sources. Our editorial policy explains how we research, label and correct them.
